Homemade Non Skid Socks

I seen a pin on Pinterest that I just had to do. It's so simple and I know R will really get a kick out of them. Homemade non skid socks! The original pin is admittedly more impressive than my attempt, but I'm trying to impress a four year old and I think this will do the trick.

You just wash a few pairs of socks and paint on the soles! I used puffy paint pens to freehand some simple images that I knew R would like. It dries in four hours and can be washed in 72 hours. It's quick and easy. I think they would make cute little stocking stuffers.

What images would your children love?

  1. I think yours turned out great!!

  2. Thank you, Phyllis! I can't wait for him to see them. :)

  3. umm those are 'stinkin' cute (which i didnt even realize was a pun until i re-read what I wrote!) He will love those, and they turned out awesome. I found a pin the otherday that had homemade puff paint (you know in case you need a color thats not a color) I think im going to have to stuff a few stocking with these!

  4. This is ANOTHER fantatsic idea. I'll so be linking to you. I wish I had more time. Kids!
